Add years to your life and life to your years!Let go of chronic disease and disability permanently. There is no need to continue accumulating more disease and disability as we age. Much of the problem is our diet., We are eating a high calorie, nutrient poor diet. So while obesity rates continue to climb, we are nutritionally starved. Not to mention the damaging affect our stressful pace and lack of exercise has on our health.
Children especially benefit from a change in lifestyle, with less ADD, ADHD, asthma, allergies, colds, ear infections, stomach pain and headaches. The younger you start, the more benefit child receives. Children are much more vulnerable to toxins than adults, but disease does not appear until much later in life. The link between lifestyle and disease has far reaching consequences into a child's adult life, fertility, auto-immune disease, mental health and chronic disease.
Our bodies can only work with what we give them. But what they can do when well cared for is amazing. The power of the body to heal is undeniable. We must work with our bodies, not against them. The food we eat, the toxins we are exposed to, the stress we experience, can activate disease causing genes. These genes are harmless if left dormant, but with poor health habits, genes are activated and disease gets set in motion. A lack of exercise alone, ages the body prematurely. With a lifestyle that supports the body systems, we can avoid triggering most genetic predispositions to disease.

Aging need not be a disabling process. Most of those living into their 80's today are living independently and retain their mental acuity. In many countries around the world, people continue working into old age. Many of us incorrectly assume that old age is fraught with disease and disability. We visualize the nursing home residents we know who have had strokes, heart attacks, diabetes and other chronic diseases. These diseases are not a normal process of aging and are virtually unknown in third world countries. The difference is our lifestyle today. The way we eat, move and think, cause approximately 80% of our illnesses.
Why aren't we living longer than ever? Sure we are living longer than our grandparents but already more and more parents are outliving their children. Considering the huge number of medical breakthroughs in the past 50 years shouldn't we have more of the solutions to cancer, heart disease, stroke and other chronic diseases? Instead diabetes, heart disease, strokes, and obesity continue to increase at alarming rates.
Hopefully, it won't be too late before we realize our lifestyle is killing us. It is up to each of us to make an important choice. Continue on in the status quo, or choose to live in abundance without disease or illness.
